Duck and Prawn Salad
Last weekend my SO made a Duck and Prawn Salad. It was made with five spice roasted duck supremes (the duck was from AC Butchery), sweet South Australian Prawns (from Ocean Foods in Drummoyne), mangos, white peaches, shallots (both fresh and dried), coriander, spearmint and baby Roma tomatoes. Plus there was a dressing that involved fresh lime, palm sugar and fish sauce amongst other secret ingredients. I was mightily impressed, and labelled it the best home-cooked dinner ever. I will be forcing him to repeat this dish over, and over again.
