Venison Carpaccio

Venison Carpaccio was one of the ways we alleviated boredom on the wet weekend. Our favourite butcher, AC Butchery, has new packages of super-fine cut carpaccio in their freezer. We paid $5.70 for this plate full of nearly see-through meat, which we topped with Joseph Olive Oil, sea salt, pepper, chilli flakes (for an Italian feel) and a dash of soy sauce. The taste - lovely, particularly on crusty bread!
