Fatty Foods Gone Overboard

This is The Double Bacon Hamburger Fatty Melt

Three bacon-stuffed grilled cheese sandwiches for buns, cheese, bacon and two four-ounce beefs patties.

This is possibly a sign that someone loves the centre of Oreos too much, and has too much time on their hands?

This one would have perplexed me up until yesterday:

It's apparently a pizza with a hot dog wrapped in bacon pigs in a blanket crust. The center is filled with italian sausage, ham, bacon, bacon bits, sliced tomato, mushroom, onion, peppers, garlic chips, basil, black pepper and tomato sauce. It can also be flavored with maple syrup and ketchup.

Yesterday a well known pizza manufacturer who shall not be named for fear of advertising their not-food sent a pamphlet about "pasta" dishes, encased in puff pastry bowls. They looked so horrific I had to keep the pamphlet to show my significant other and share the horror!

However this one, I am quite tempted by:

A lot of 50s style diners have pie with cheese, I rather like it.

The Snickers Pie also had me tempted, but I'm not big on fried food so most of the rest is really a bit blah.

I wonder, is the well known pizza manufacturer the same one that's advertising it's pasta dishes with an alleged blind tasting in a restaurant?

Every time I see that ad, it saddens me to think that if it was a real tasting, that most of the diners would think that the pizza chain could create good food, rather than plastic food created out of powders and preservatives.

The reason being is what they would be tasting would match the poor excuses for food in the ready made meals and pasta sauces you get in the supermarket that they are fooled into thinking, by the advertising, is made fresh.

I have seen the pasta ads on TV - gruesome. What's even funnier is the ad agency has chosen to represent the alleged deliciousness of the product by filming a bunch of people jumping & prancing around excitedly while a bucketload of 'fresh' veg rains down upon them. I guess it's classier than showing them rolling around in melted cheese.

I am also perplexed at encasing pasta in another carb. How did they think this would be good for people?
