With the Sydney Film Festival in full swing, I thought it was my duty to head back to The Rook between films and take in their Dining Delights offer. These offers have popped up all over the CBD and are all available until the festival closes this Sunday evening.
The offer sees you enjoy a wagyu burger with cheddar, aioli and pickled beetroot, a big serving of chunky truffle fries with a zingy house-made tomato sauce along with a glass of a Printhie Chardonnay from Orange.
They also throw in a killer dessert that was somewhere between an Eton mess and a smashed pavlova, involving mango, strawberries and meringue. Yum. Best part is, the whole lot was only $35, saving at least $10 off their usual prices.
Of course, I did also throw in a half-lobster with citrus vinaigrette as well...
