The latest adventure in baking was a Spelt Flour Cheese Loaf. This was a smaller loaf (750g) so it was never going to be quite as tall as the earlier ones. The flour added an interesting taste, not unlike sourdough... I am working up to trying my own sourdough, and I think I will use this flour when I do. Why working up? Well sourdough seems to require you to create your own sourdough starter, a funky thing you make and grow... and I'm still adjusting to the idea.
